I’m Nat — founder of Haytiger Nutrition & Fitness, mum of three, and former police officer turned personal trainer and nutrition coach.
For years, I've juggled shift work, the stress of frontline policing, and a complicated relationship with food and exercise. As a teen, I struggled with anorexia, which led to years of disordered habits — endless cardio, restriction, bingeing, and always chasing “thin” over health. I counted calories but didn’t care about nutrition. On the outside, I looked fine — inside, I was exhausted and my mental health took a real toll.
Everything changed after my second child. I discovered weight training, began learning about nutrition, and slowly rebuilt my relationship with food and my body. These days, I move because I love it, and I eat to keep my energy levels where they need to be for everything life throws my way.
I created Haytiger as the world of fitness, strength training and nutrition feels so complicated, and you often don't know what to believe, or do for the best.
I believe in keeping things simple, mastering the basics and giving you the tools to live in a way that makes you feel strong, confident and in control.
